It takes a village and we’re all in it together, sisters!

aSister is a network of women in and out of the workforce trading skills and services to get things done and make life easier for us all! Women will earn credits by providing their skills and services to others and then use those credits to hire other women from the assist-her-hood for all of the available services listed. Not sure you’ll bank up enough credits? No problem- we’ll always have a “buy credits” option available for those of us that aren’t offering a service.

Some of us work outside of the home, and some of us don’t. Some of us have existing businesses, some of us sell products, some of us provide services, and some of us are just good at things or enjoy doing things we wouldn’t think to get paid for but are extremely valuable. Some of us have skills to use but can’t find opportunities to use them. There are things we might not even consider to be a skill or service - like home organization, putting together goody bags, or making and delivering freezer meals.  

What we are really creating is “assist-her-hood” of women helping each other save time, use our skills, and do more of what we love. We’re talking about women who stay at home, women who work, women with babies, women with big kids, and women without kids. We aim to be a new kind of workforce that’s as flexible as real life needs us to be and that is open to every woman regardless of status, income, or geography!
